Harness the Power
of Curie™

Intel had just completed a new chip, Curie, built for wearables. They needed an SDK to allow app builders to connect to sensor data, and had planned to hire a team for a full year of development.

PROCESS

Before pulling the trigger on new hiring, Intel talked to Mokriya. We looked at what Intel was doing and suggested some faster approaches to the problem.

Our developers were embedded with the Intel team and worked in parallel as the hardware was undergoing testing. We teamed up with Oakley to build a cycling coach app that worked with the newly built Curie SDK.

RESULTS

Mokriya was able build the SDK in just four months, release a cycling coach app with Oakley to leverage the SDK’s power, and save the Intel team over $1 million in development costs.

After the project was completed, Intel said that Mokriya had not only gone above and beyond to deliver something ahead of schedule and under budget, but they had also opened the eyes of the Intel team on how development could happen.
